born on January 10th 1974 in Congo Kinshasa. Scott Kabongo was more of a sport orientated person in his youth and he enjoyed the game of basketball and won many titles as a player in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He then started a career with the United Nations where, worked for 6 years making images, developing a great passion and high level of skill in the field of photography. As he grew older, he began to pursue a career in Portrait and event photography whilst studying modern languages and journalism at the London Metropolitan University in London UK. He has also studied accounting among other subjects in the UK. Further to his time at the London metropolitan University, extra photography training was taken to improve his craft. Even though SIC was only created in 2011 Scott Kbg has been doing photography since 1998.
after his time in the UN he then moved Europe where he covered various events such as Miss Africa, The African Awards, The Telesud shows at the EU in Brussels and many more. Still very active internationally, Scott runs photography projects in the DRC where he is running a program called the Golden Fingers Generation that is designed to empower artists to make their way into the field of pro photography.
